Horn and ICE controls work fine.

It is a T Diesel version. Check pedel switches but really need to remove them entirely to check the wiring. I think the steering contols work and would like to take that apart as a last resort. dont want any suprises. Will check all other connection as per Rob Bell's installation guide.

Ps. green lights work, and break lights also.

Matt

Before you start pulling the switches out ('cos they are a pain to get out and get back unless you've got skinny forearms), get yourself in the footwell then with one hand depress the pedal and with the other hand locate the switch and push it through the holder a bit futher. Gentlty release the pedal and it should push the switch back slightly to it's correct position. At rest, the top of the pedal, should be in contact with the face of the switch.

Unhappy

Have riped all of the damned CC systems out and reconnected (well did everything everyone suggested).

Test will be an about 20 mins, but I'm not hopeful didn't find anything obviously wrong. Could it be engine side?, vacum pump or something (clutching at straws)

Will update post soon. Heres hoping with everything crossed.

STILL DOESN'T WORK.

What I've tried so far:
Removed Clutch ped sensor and refitted and positioned, is now touching metal of the clutch
Did same as above for foot brake
Removed steering wheel column cover and check connections
Removed Air bag and check connections
Removed fusebox cover and check connections to CC Interface
All ok and connected

Symptoms:
Master switch goes green when pressed. When pulling +SET toward me nothing happens. no dash light no CC cutting in
Horn and ICE controls work fine on Steering wheel.

What on earth can be wrong? is there anyway of fooling the sensors? just to work out if one of them is faulty. Is there anyway of fooling the set button to test if that is faulty.

Are their any spare clutch and brake sensors? Any spare Cruise control switches for the SW?

HEEELLLLPPPPPP MEEEEE!!!!! This is really doing my nut in. I only want a simple life!

Maybe quicker in the long run now to book a session on a T4 testbook.
Money well spent and you can test all inputs & outputs of all relevant devices,
Right Keith?

T4 workbook is the diagnostic PC many garages and Xpart outlets have.
£30 - £40 to get a print out of all the fault codes your car may have now or had in the past ( if the ECU has not been cleared/ updated recently on it's scheduled servicing)

Make sure you ask for a copy of the printout from T4 too, before they start.
