Ingenious! Simple but effective. Must get around to checking and making the mod. I too would appreciate a PM regarding the release procedure just in case as I've noticed the bonnet release feels quite stiff just lately.

As long as its all greased up properly and the cable connecting block is the correct way around you should not have any problems :lol:

Default Handy Tip Before Cables Do Go Clunk In The Night

HANDY TIP BEFORE CABLES DO GO CLUNK IN THE NIGHT

If you feel the bonnet isn't going to open and before you give the lever that extra tug which will dislogde the cables............

STOP! Try to get a friend to push down on either side of bonnet with open palms so as not to dent. (they dent easy) while you pull the lever.

Also makes huge difference if you do the above while the engine is warm too

Newbies do now!!
1. Plenum drains..all 3 or 4 year dependent
2. Cooling fan..All speeds functioning
3. Bonnet cable divider block
