Default Heathrow today, 19th Feb.

I live about one mile from my large Tesco store and that is about one and a half miles from the perimeter of Heathrow. I am interested in aeroplanes and always aware of what is in the air around us.

Whilst walking to Tesco this morning, I saw an Airbus A380 go off, then there seemed to be a lack of take-offs. When I came out of Tesco after my brief visit, still no aircraft taking off. Then a "go round", an aborted landing, came right over me.

On getting home I found that there had been some incident but at present unexplained.

I link to Flight radar and here is a link which starts at the A380. There should be aircraft landing as often as taking off. At 1012 the "go round" appears moving south from the airport;if one pauses the replay, then clicks on that, one can see the holding pattern it went through before that landing approach. I find it interesting, I hope others will.

That is odd, what’s happening with that United Airlines flight circling around.
It was due to land at 10.30

Lol I wondered that myself, then realised it was the mirror. They need to sensationalise it somehow. When I initially search google, there were mentions of the virus in the headline links.
