Is there a charcoal canister on the 2.5v6?
I get a "whif" of what I THINK is a fuel smell, when either coming to a stop of just after moving off.
Just wondering if there is a charcoal canister on the 2.5 v6 (can see for the 1.8T and 2.0v6 but not on 2.5) and would this be the cause (not entirely sure it is this is fuel, just cant put my finger on it and a bit annoying!)

You sure you haven't got a broken breather pipe, (under the cover)? If you have it will get into the cabin after you move off after being stationary. If you have you can get new ones from Rimmers, but buy the Landie one, it's cheaper.... LLH102660L
And this is where it normally breaks: http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-LLH102660L Cheers.

The charcoal Canister is at the back O/S.Look under the car between the Wheel Arch and the Spare Wheel Carrier.
