That is good advice Anna

Try to get some hidden cameras to record the abuse - then you have a chance of getting the Police to do something. But take care - the last thing yo want to do is to aggravate the situation.

Edit - well done looks like you moved things by your agenda - not his! Well done.

You live in the 'life of the brave' in Scotland, and it says it all.
Well done Anna

Well done for finding the courage to go to the Police Anna, hopefully this will put him on a short leash when he is released.

Wont lie to you Anna tough times are ahead.

I have been where you are twice and its not easy .

You have to involve outside parties and thats never easy.

You have the added complication of children that he has the right to see .

However his behaviour leaves him open to restrictions.

What you MUST NOT DO is ever trust him again and NEVER EVER let him back into your life .

I dont know him but from what you have said here he sounds a bad lot .

Your commitment to your children is the most important thing .

Let nothing pass with regard to breaking any rules laid down.

Good luck lady .

Its a long road .

Good stuff Anna.
I'm glad you went to the police and made a statement. Now you will need as much support as possible from friends and family to help you through what can be a difficult time.
I sincerely hope you can make it on Saturday, there are a lot of people rooting for you and I hope we can keep you cheered up and away from morbid thoughts.
As I have said my daughter has been through the mill, she though came through it eventually and has no hassle any longer.
Anne too had a very unhappy first marriage with a very much controlling husband, boy has the tide turned for him!
I'll give you a big hug on Saturday along with the rest of us
