Assuming they haven't previously been refurbed they could either be Sparkle Silver if they look the same as your old wheels or Liquid Silver if they are more chromey looking

I was just wondering - had a look on rimmerbros website and they only show the wheels in silver sparkle? (item 4) but mine do look more chromey than my unions

Hi,

Glad you got them in the end, I'm pretty sure silver sparkle is the correct colour for your wheels.
I think they will set your car off a treat

Well Ive committed myself now to silver sparkle - just bought 4 brand new wheel centres off rugby rover for the princely sum of £27 incl delivery. Current centres are ok but I thought by thge time Ive had them repainted, bougt new badges etc (couple oare bubbling) I might as well get brand new then have the wheels painted to match.

Also, bought a proper cap removal tool as centres where ever so slightly damaged where theyve been levered up with what I presume is a screwdriver. Just need to find a decent place to repaint them now - went to a locl place this morning and they wanted £315!!!!! I dont think so LOL

Hi Jeff,

I was quoted £65.00 per wheel for mine to be refurbed, that was to take them off the car, remove tyres, sand blast then powder coat, re-fit tyres and balance wheels.
All in any finish I wanted, that was from a company in Colchester Essex called wheel worx.

The standard I saw was very good indeed.

I know thats not in your part of the world but should give you an idea on what to pay and expect.

P.s. Going to get mine done before the National meet in Flixton...Yey!

The part no on the back of the center says: RRJ 100150 XXX which matched the ebay listing I've bought here:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...3#ht_500wt_922

I rang him first and he reckons its sparjle silver - I'm confused?!!! Could sparkle and liquid silver be the same colour but with a different name?

The XXX is a universal number for the cap replaced by MNH or MBS on the label on the packet depending on the colour. The 2 colours are totally different..........Sparkle Silver has a very heavy metallic grain to it & is a bright silver whereas Liquid Silver has a really fine grain & is a little darker & as I said can appear slightly chromey
