When you have time Jeff, can you please post up your winning photos and tell us the settings or how you did it?

Yesterday I was out all day at Westonbirt Arboretum for camera club and Autumn Colours. I walked 6 miles, feet were soaking wet and numb from the cold, hailstones, rain, sun and blue skies. I was the man for all the seasons in one day

Insufficient hair to get dandruff in the first place

Hail showers now seem to have stopped - just loads of really wet slush and huge puddles of melt water at the side of the road.
I'm now staying indoors with Captain Morgan for the rest of the day. I may even put the central heating on for 5 minutes later

This was 8.30am this morning, looking out of the front door -

I don't think our hydrangea is going to flower any more this year

No white stuff here but no heatwave either, downright parky. Looking at the snow pics, its going to be "interesting" when Maya first encounters snow, she's nuts as it is without having to contend with this weird white stuff.

Evening all, by heck it's gone chilly out there now.

Chicken thighs in this Garlic & herb powder marinade is really excellent
with sweet potato & swede roasted chips.

Cant remember whether I got it from B&M or Aldi It's top tasty stuff.

They're lovely plants. I've got two of those hydrangea plants in the front garden, I need to get a few of the potted plants inside for Winter but our two young cats chew all the house plants
There's nowhere to put them out of reach of these two monkeys.

The same plant when in bloom - the missus changed the colour of the blooms by burying a load of rusty nails around its roots:-

Beautiful colours Rod and what a cool trick with the rusty nails . ours are naturally light blue.

Film night tonight "Blade Runner 2049" I think it's one of those films I'll need to watch two or three times to understand it

I know, I had the same problem with "Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs".
