They are the biggest bunch of useless, feckless, incompetent imbeciles I have ever encountered. They do take photos of doors, but they NEVER leave a card - the photo of the door covers them basically, so they don't spend 5 minutes writing a card. This way they are never in the "wrong", cos they have done all they can and everything else is your fault. They tout the photo of the door thing as being comprehensive, while forgeting the fact the photo of the door means f-all - doesn't prove they knocked, rang or posted a card, just means they took a photo, that's all.

I detest them, they caused me no end of aggro at work for a while.

Even Yodel get my vote before they do.

So your not keen on them then ??..

They are most assuredly NOT on the Mofo Christmas Card list....

They are, however, top of another list, and come the revolution, they will be the first ones against the proverbial brick based structure.

City Link? Probably absolutely fine working in cities, but trying to find a house in a town? No chance! They were supposed to be delivering a new mobile a few years ago and they said they couldn't find the house! 19 houses in the street, in a small-ish town, not some out of the way lonely house in the backwoods or anything. Strange the postman can find it everyday and all the other couriers!

Still, probably not as bad as Fedex!!

I can only speak as I find ?

I live out in the sticks .. I've had loads of stuff delivered by Citylink and never had a problem .. so it has to be down to the driver ?

And this week I sent 4 Fiat X1/9 bare Alloy wheels to the Netherlands, by DHL express .. picked up Monday ( 11am) delivered on Wednesday Midday all for 23 quid !

Never heard of this "photo of the door" thing before!

What if they have already been to your address, and thus already photo'd your door? Do they keep the photos on file? If so, once they've been they can use the photo over and over again - unless you repaint your door once a week to fool them!

They used to report the "colour of the door" to prove they'd visited
