Best Speeding Excuse Ever!!
When asked by a young patrol officer, "Do you know you were speeding?"
This 83-year-old woman gave the young officer an ear to ear smile andstated: "Yes, but .... I had to get there before I forgot where I was going." The officer put his ticket book away and bid her good day. Makes perfectly good sense to me. Mike |

A local farmer was driving down the country back roads, after leaving the town..... The blues and twos appeared behind him, and so he put his foot down.... Travelling at 70mph+ down narrow country lanes he eventually arrived home.... The cop car pulled in behind him.... The police officer said "We caught you doing 42mph going up the High street in town, and when we asked you to pull over, you took off!! ..... Why did you not stop?".... The old boy responded with "It's all narrow lanes... I was trying to get out of your way!"
The magistrate did not see his point of view BTW... Thread moved to appropriate forum. Re-direct left in old.
