zt-t exhaust
Hi All
Big of advice needed , due to the state Devons roads I have had my exhaust system demolished twice in last week or so on side roads which seem to be a series of holes connected with bits of tarmac. Any way point is ss system for tt I have been quoted were eye watering, but systems for saloon were very reasonable. Can zt be made to fit ztt without having workshop. Any advice welcome even if it"s no twit. WallyH |

Hi WallyH,
I think the exhaust is different for a saloon/ estate as the floor is a different shape but could be wrong https://rimmerbros.com/ItemList--MG-...ystem--m-12895 Contact the local council and report the pot holes, take pictures of the holes with a tape measure inside the hole, and explain to them that they have a duty to fix potholes and you want the cost of the repair to be paid for by them as they are not looking after the roads properly Phil. I agree with you on the state of Devons roads, this one is about 15 miles from you!
A good exhaust centre will adjust the pipe to suit, anything can be made to fit should you wish. Sent from my SM-G780G using Tapatalk

mg ztt exhaust
Thanks for replies
Sorry for delay in replying I have had to replace a 6 x 6 gatepost and I"m knackered ,how come the Tudors could make wood framed ho uses last 500 years and we cannot make treated posts last 9!. Anyway thanks for replying I managed to lash up a reasonable exhaust from bits around garage and getting hold of a used ss rear box dunno where it came from but it"s on ,must get a proper system on though .that is a really lousy bit of road pictured I"ve been told the A3072 around Bow / Okehampton is a mess. Thinking of putting Rover tourer springs on for softer ride. |

Hi Andy. If you want to do anything about hose potholes, I suggest you serve a SECTION 58 notice on the council whose area they are in. They have a duty to repair them within, I think, 30 days. The council gets money to repair and look after them from the government. If nothing happens, see you Local MP. Since I employed that particular route, if I report a pothole it is done within 3/4 days.
