Morning Chill Outers - and by 'eck, it isn't half chill out(er) there. No more snow, but a heavy white frost - even the wheelie bin lid was frozen shut!
We were upped to tier 4 yesterday, so it's back to hibernation for us - see you in the Spring

Chilly start here as well had to de-ice the car before I went shopping at 6.30 this morning and the roads were a bit entertaining as well. Today's bargain buy was 200 gm packs beechwood smoked salmon reduced from £4.97 to £2.40 so one or two packs now tucked away in the freezer..
Covid has hit our family over the last couple of days with Jan's sister in Manchester and one of our grandsons and his wife in Thetford all testing positive.
Stay safe all

Morning all, the skies have gone dark & according to the BBC we have weather warnings out for heavy snowfall later A team of wild horses wouldn't drag me away from the front of the fire today, well maybe going into the garage for some bottles of Henry's apple juice to restock the fridge

It's soup weather so as we've got lots of carrots, swede, leeks, cabbage, parsnips, celery, onions I'm chopping/mixing it all up & putting it into sealable bags in the freezer ready for soups.
The wheelie bin is still outside by the roadway from Monday as they've still not been out to empty them

Hi Ian,

I'm rather partial to smoked salmon and a trip to the South coast would be a nice run out...

Oh, hang on, I think there's a flaw in the plan...

Give me a minute and I'll work it out...

Something's been announced....

Oh yes, got it now...

I'm not allowed to .

Hope your family COVID stuff is as minimal as it can be.

Glorious blue sky here.

And I've got my nurses outfit on to look after SWMBO .

Take care all and have the best New Year that you can.

Try your local ASDA for the salmon mate and thanks for the kind thoughts and good wishes same are returned to you and yours and lets hope that we can get back to somewhere near normal in 2021 but I fear it will be a few months yet.
You shouldn't have mentioned the nurses outfit Rev Jules will be frothing at the mouth again..lol
