Ah, yes. Mickyboy has shown me a pic of the two halves. Looks doable.

I am in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees. Thanks the offer, but I might save that credit for a touch problem! . I think I should be able to buy a new bottom-half, or lash up some Velcro.

I am trying to just enjoy the car as is, then hopefully build up some trust with it over the next year. Then I can attack the small jobs. But this cubby thing is literally in my arm's way as imam driving!

I will have a ponder and report back.
