Took advantage of what appears to be a brief respite from all the stormy weather of late,with a trip out with the cam,on a gorgeous,albeit cold but sunny Sunday Afternoon,around Derwentwater Nr Keswick.

Took loads of pics,but have decided to post just a few slightly different ones,which I have worked on.

What a difference a day makes,the contrast with the weather from one day to the next,the 2 pics below were taken at dusk yesterday Saturday roughly about 1/2 mile down the Coast from the first 2 pics in previous post,which were taken the day before Friday,what a transformation.

Please take care of yourselves,safe motoring & very best wishes to everyone,during these atrocious conditions."HAPPY NEW YEAR".

Superb John - I'm glad I'm on the East coast this Winter - most of the winds have died down a fair bit by the time they reach us

Best wishes for the Year to you and Jan - let's hope for some similar sunshine to last year. I'm heading South this Summer, so most of my photos are likely to be of the Cotswolds and Cornwall
