Well I'm not that clever with them either John Just take your time & remember you can always delete & start again. When you have one of the builds, then you'll have all of the "Addons" you'll need for now. I use Pulse Have fun.

You need to open Kodi John, then go into settings on Kodi. Once you've got that far, watch a youtube video on how to install a build.

What are you using for kodi
Quote:
On your fire stick mate. You can do it all through your TV, you don't need the pc at all. As Ron said, fire up your tv, load up Kodi then follow one of the tutorials. It's easy peasy, although I had to pause the tutorial and rewind it a bit quite a few times just so I got it right. Don't rush it and you'll be up and running in no time. Good luck. I have tried to install Kodi using the You Tube tutorial, I get as far as typing "Downloader", click downloader, in the tutorial the next screen shows four apps including"Downloader, my tv shows only three apps, Smug Mug, Apps and One Drive. Any advice please?. The Firestick is connected to my wifi. Thanks, John.

Is there a way to get kodi on to a smart telly? Seems a bit of a shame to have to buy a box to plug in to the telly when it has its own capability to run the apps the maker lets you use.

Thing is John, can't really help other than to point you to Youtube for guidance, I don't have a firestick, I use an Android box with Kodi pre-installed.
