Default Another great show.

It was a great day. There were lots of great cars to see. In fact, there were so many that it took me most of the day to get round the area and I saw some in the queue to leave that I'm sure I had not seen parked up.

The cars on the club stand were a credit to their owners and it was good to chat with members and put faces to names. The prize winners were all very deserving and I echo others thanks to Stu for his organising and prizes.

For those of you who were thinking of coming but did not make it, you missed a great show. People had come from far and wide to the show and i heartily recommend it.

Thanks to all those who supported the event at Corbridge, really enjoyed the day, but more the company, and some excellent cars on display, and think that the write up of the day by Chris is brilliant (thanks Chris)

I got home at around 1830 hrs, after a very long day, and was bushwhacked, unpacked car, and had a bite to eat, then fell asleep, and woke up at half time during the footie

Here are my photo's of the day

https://1drv.ms/f/s!AlzI6tCEbgTSgdN7yLFjX37w7YUnrg

(had to post them up on one drive, as ran out of space on photobucket)

Prizes on the day were awarded as follows:

1st 75 - Ssizefive
2nd 75 - Graham1961
3rd 75 - Slivervixen

1st ZT - Mofo
2nd ZT - Black and White
3rd ZT - Roverrobson

also awarded 4 prizes to some of the members as well for something different

Best Wheels -Ziggy72
Best interior - NigelOBB
Best Engine Bay - Myfirstrover
Best Modified - Willshot (Last award he will ever get whilst car in his possession)

I am sorry that everyone did not win, even I did not get a prize, and I spent a lot of time cleaning and preparing the car, but be assured, your cars are still very good, and were a credit to the club stand we had

So once again thanks to everybody who support the show

Stu

Just sharing my thoughts, quite enjoyed doing it to be fair.

Best interior must have been a close one, we had a couple of fantastic ones to choose from, neptune blue / blue alcantara / sports leather - some of my personal favourites.

Oh you - taking yourself out of the running was very gentlemanly of you, I think it's because you are running out of space in the man cave for all the awards myself....nearly time for an extension
