On a side note speed maybe doesn't indicate good workmanship but in just the same way it is no indication of poor workmanship. It is quite obvious the more you do something the quicker you become to the point of it being a "fine art" furthermore taking a lot of time to undertake a task does not indicate good workmanship in much the same way.

You can carry out a task which performs the same basic function, however there is also an element of satisfaction and quality to take into consideration.
