Evening, nothing new is up to me, still waiting for RVI ,waiting for them to say when I’m going for an operation . I’ve been waiting since the start of July last year, I was told I would be done within last year, but now the doctor has gone on the sick for a long time, so I still don’t know when I’ll be seen to.
This is because the NHS is absolutely well over let with ill and very ill with the majority people.

Having a small holding here, we have a designated meadow for the remains of pets and farm animals and another place under a tree for the ashes of our loved ones we have lost over the years. It’s a magical tree which seems to attract Doves and pretty birds which adds to the scene for being there. I visit most days for a chat and it helps.

Do let us know how it goes and keep us posted.
We will keep her here until the spring, then lay her to rest in the garden.

Good morning Richard, that is bad news you have another delay because the surgeon doing your op is off on long term sickness. Its surprising there is not another Neurosurgeon who is taking over his list at the hospital in Newcastle. How annoying and frustrating for you, try not to be too disheartened....

You or Fiona are in a very strong position to make a complaint and to ask to be put on another Neurosurgeons list at the hospital. I would not believe he is the only Neuro who can do the op.

It sounds easy to ask, but if you dont have a telephone number or an email to write to, then it can be difficult and I speak from personal experience.

Keep us posted.

Morning all,

A great result yesterday from our internet providers who sent 2 engineers round to install a wifi repeater upstairs and to fit an Ethernet cable to the TV, a big improvement with the quality of pictures and signal perfect.

The best part, it was not expensive …. £25 all in How can they make a profit with those charges, I don’t know.

Today we are replacing the solar batteries and solar panels with new ones. Our old ones are 20 years old and the batteries are no longer able to store power.

The new batteries and panels arrived yesterday and will be swapped over later on this morning. The forecast is 26C, dry and sunny which will help with everything.

Hoping my post finds our friends here who have been recently sick, feeling better?

What’s everyone up to?
