EGR Bypass
Please correct me if I'm wrong but if I fit me a EGR bypass it would be better to clean out the intake manifold at the same time to gain the full benefit of the bypass?

less gunk in the manifold would aid better air flow, interestingly there is a product doing the rounds that is similar to the Forte flush system but apparently better for diesels. It 'allegedly' cleans the egr, manfold and DPF filter (which we don't have) costs around £400 though I believe....
Linky to the product I saw - http://www.bgprod.com/products/fuelair.html

A bottle brush is also an essential piece of kit for this job.

It just can't be any good for an engine to have to ingest all that extra carbon muck. |
