Ian,
I know this is very upsetting for you after all your hard work but it is an easy repair to put the car right again! Three bolt on panels and repair the rear wing, nothing hard to do and its something we do all the time. Make sure you do not let them take the car away from you for the estimate and fight them hard for it to be repaired! Let me know the paint code, a friend of mine had some panels in Red metallic but I'm not sure which one now? Tom.

U-pullit in York has a red facelift in at the moment which might have the bits you need.

The assistance and help offered by Organiser and Oldcarguy make this club what it is GREAT. I take my hat off to you both.

I feel your pain!
If that ever happened to Ed, I'd be inconsolable! I just hope if something ever did happen to him like that, that I'm not in the car, as I'm not sure I'd be responsible for my actions! |

Know there's nothing I can say that going to make that better..... Really sorry to see it like that.
Only thing I can say is thanks for making me put a dash cam top of my Christmas present list. Really hope you get it sorted somehow and whoever did it is taken off our roads.

I am so sorry. On a much lesser scale this happened to me - someone damaged my bumper and boot - just as i was starting going to town on cleaning up the car. I can only imagine how much worse you feel knowing how I felt about something relatively minor in the scale of things.
I really hope you can get this back to the way it should look. There are some really low people out there

I will echo what has been said so far as its gut wrenching to see that happen.
Yes, its about time we all invested in dash cams. Our fleet of lorries have them and its amazing what we pick up on them. 2 cases are with the police at the moment. They record other crimes too as we have seen! Good luck and dont let anyone take the car away!
