Is it the way the photo is taken that internal looks smaller ?
Or my eyes are getting worse lol

Plus are you going to bevel the ends for bit of security ?
yes the ID is about 10mm it is less then the O.E pipe but i dont think it should cause any issues, i am not going to i am not going to bevel the end as such as it would be hard to do with this pipe, but i do have a plan watch this space

Be nice to see how it performs
Think its the cheapest way to go and close eye for leaks after a good run

they dont make the pipe that size in green or i would have mate,
and so far its cost me the grand sum of £10 so not bad at all if it works i think, and not a loss really if it dont work, but its all in the name of trying something diffrent and the stainless pipe should look nice in the engine bay to

ok so another busy evening fo me

now this mod i have to give a massive thank you to sean car for sorting me out with this
first i started to rub it back

primer

first coat of paint

after about two coats note the dead flys on the right side  they just love green i couldnt stop them landing on it gggrrr

now if any ones spoiler has broken you can fix them with these they are called jack nuts

as you can see they squash like this,
so you dont need to mess about with fiber glass trying to get the old fixing back in
a long peice of 6mm rod with a nut on it, and then simple just wind the nut down and hold the rod still and it squashes

a bad photo but thats what it looks like when its in

then i made cardboard template of the face that sits on the boot lid to make sure rubber gasskets up

then i unscrewd the rubber bump stops on the boot and center poped the hole, form in side the boot out

3mm drill bit

then to 6mm but drilling down though the boot this time

if you look half way down you can see the mark for the other hole, drilled this one out

painted the inside of all the drilled holes and lined up the gaskets

and bolted it all down

now the finish of the spoiler isnt brillant as i sprayed it out side and its very orange peal so i may need wyns expert wet sanding experience to get it up to a goos shine

over all quite happy with it but not very happy with the fitment as i need thicker rubber as a gasket as you can see day light straght though it

what you guys think double spolilers?
