Asked for a quote for fitting a New Sub Frame to my 75, have been asked if they need to swop over the bottom arms and Roll Bar etc ?

It depends on the condition of your bottom arms, if they are in good order then swap them over, if not fit new arms and bushes before fitting the subframe.

The anti roll bar will need swapping to your new subframe too, this takes 10 mins when the subframe is off.

The front sub frame is a heavy solid lump, may I ask why you want to swop it?
If it is rust, would stripping it and painting it be cheaper?

I already have the sub frame, i have renewed nearly all suspension and brake parts, bottom arms were done last year, new front hubs bearings brake discs backing plates, new condenser, new radiator, new lub oil cooler, new fuel tank straps, new exhaust, loads of other work, o believe in preventative maintenance, just became a pensioner in December so with all the work i have done to the car, it should last me a long time with only servicing to do. Will keep old sub frame and refurbish it, and sell it.
