Default Sticky power VIS powervalve

Have been trying to loosen up sticky powervalve in upper air intake by working them manually.
Oil is no option since the intake was full of oil. The cover on the underside seems glued in addition to the screws, any good tips?

Are you talking about the rod that the butterfly flaps are attached to? Shouldn't stick just move about an inch with no turning movement. If you look at your power VIS motor the peg rotates from one side to the other through 180 degs which is the amount of travel.

I've used white spirit to clean the manifolds, not 100% but good enough.

Regards

ps. still no friendly postman?
