V6 lower tie rod mount
Hi,
My 75 V6 has the usual symptons of a warn lower tie rod such as funny vibrations, not so smooth changes etc. Have got a new one and from what i see i need to drop the exhaust/ possibly remove the lambada sensor in the way of the bolt. Advice please Cheers John |

Most people find they go straight in without removing anything other than the undertray. I'm sure there's a HowTo type thread/threads on this if you do a search.

Undertray off, heat shield off. Undoo bolts on the mountand remove one at the smaller end of the mount then rocking of the engine will enable ( just) the other bolt to pass the sensor.

Did this recently. Used a jack under the sump to tilt the engine and leave my hands free :

The engine will move by hand enough to let the bolt miss the sensor
