Default synergy

Hi i have just put synergy 2 on my o4 plate 114hp diesel which has just had x-part upgrade done to135hp ,have replaced pcv and erg,car doesent seem to have a lot more power was told to set synergy at 3,have tried 1 to 5 it seems to smoke at all settings,and seems a bit thirsty any ideas thanks.

Unplug the MAF and see how it goes.

hi have tried unpluging maf seems to drive the same,power seems to come in at about 2 thousand revs not much going on below that,could it be a duff maf.

If it behaves the same with the MAF sensor un-plugged it doesn't point to the MAF sensor being the problem.

If nothing is happening below 2000 that's about par for the standard motor.
The Ronbox will give you good torque about 500 rpm lower down the rev range, so you should feel good pull from around 1600 rpm, and after that the torque curve gets better and better, peaking at around 2300 rpm, but staying pretty flat until 3500 rpm.
It sounds a little as if your Ronbox isn't doing anything, so first check would be all the connectors etc. to make sure there isn't a simple answer.
