MPG still disappointing - Page 2

Took car on a longer journey today, the temperature was steady at 84C.
Is it worth getting the thermostat replaced with only a 4C reduction in temperature??

Done two brim to brims since this and definitely better. 36 and 35mpg. My previous calculation (32.5mpg after pre-stat change 34-35mpgs) was after a week of almost total in-town driving. It doesn't look like my thermostat has been affecting my economy greatly though, certainly during my commuting. I'm taking a run out West in a couple of weeks so will report on any improvements on long-run driving.
