Default Mk 1 projectors in Europe

Does anyone know if the Mk 1 (halogen) projector headlamps in the R75 can be adjusted for driving in Europe or will I need the stick-on deflectors? Nothing in the handbook and old threads suggest the Mk 1’s are not adjustable.

There is a little metal lever inside the light unit that you push across, this switches the beam across to suit driving on the wrong side.

All projectors have a shutter to eliminate the near side kick up ( used in the UK . It's a pig to find the lever end for it first time you use it.

I had absolutely no idea the MK 1 75 had such a gadget. I have never heard of any marque of car that had such things.

Our cars are amazing. They surprise and please us every day. Though sometimes the surprises aren't nice .

But I've never known a marque of car that doesn't have the occasional glitch.

The 75 is my all time favourite car.

Thanks Trikey. So, presumably, access hatch off, projector cover off and then fumble around trying to find the lever?

Not in my handbook it isn't. Height adjustment yes but nothing about adjustment for right hand side driving. But then, my car is a later 2001 that was fitted originally with reflectors before I later changed them over to projectors.
