Hmmm, I wonder what they're selling exactly. As far as I know VDO haven't issued an update for some years.

From what I've heard, the 2015 is the last update and I don't think there will be any more.

That's correct for the CD version... If you have upgraded to the BMW DVD version they still produce updates for that.

I am waiting for Continental Automotive (owners of the VDO brand) to ring me back on this, but in the meantime I dug out my old notes. The situation six years ago was that VDO no longer marketed their own branded CD. Their website directed customers to Navteq.

Today, I can't find any reference on the VDO website to sat. nav. CDs.

No TMC after 2007 for CD versions, that must be the time when VDO stopped making them and you had to get a Navteq one.
