Had a new valeo alternator fitted. 280 euros all in. Mechanic said he was at it for nearly 5 hrs but they didnt charge me that labour. Alternator was 168 euros ex vat.

Ian,

Aren't you going to tell us which one you chose; 100 or 120 amps? I think we deserve it after all that brain scratching we've done on your behalf.

It was the 120 amp.
