Default Parking app UK?

Hi,
I'm planning to spend two weeks of the summer in the UK. Over here we have a nice parking app that makes parking and paying for it easy (no hassle with coins or stuff; just a phone call in my case to start the parking period and another one when you want to finish it). Is something similar available for tourists travelling to the UK?

Hello, I hope you have a great visit.

There may be many such services, I dont know. However I have had to use this one,

https://myringgo.co.uk

I have used it about twice in 4 years or so.

Thanks breakfastinmethwick, I'm sure I will have a great visit; I always do. Love going to the UK, especially with my Connie.
I'll have a look at the app. See if they allow tourists to use it.

In Harrogate (Yorkshire) they've introduced a wonderful new system to help you find a space using an app, and also to pay for your parking from the app. 'AppyParking' I think it's called. It's currently on an 18 month trial. I'm still waiting for the first prosecutions for mobile device use whilst driving arising from this....

Many thanks. Parkopedia seems cool. Just sent an email to RingGo to find out if it can also be used for holiday use only.
