Fuel level sensors

Hello everyone,
I think one of my fuel sensor level is bad.
PHOTOS

On 6.0 diagnostics I have "_ _0319"
On 6.1 diagnostics I have _ _ _ _ _ _
On 1_6.2 diagnostics I have "_ _0327

The fuel tank was about 1/2 level, a little bit above the 1/2 line.
On a cold start in the morning the fuel gauge dropped to 0 and when the car warmed up it started to work again.

Probably only has a single sensor on the pump (right hand) side of the tank. (quite normal) Sometimes they stick - especially if the in tank fuel pump has had attention and it's been bent or misaligned when being replaced. Mine is a 2003 and only has the one sensor. I suspect that only the very earliest 75s had both sensors.

If you follow my guide on this, the results do not indicate a faulty float. The 1_6.2 display indicates both sensors are OK. A faulty sensor is displayed as 2_6.2 and both faulty as 3_6.2.

having said that, the complete section 6 displays are ambiguous, as I state in the notes. I have a suspicion that the readouts don't represent fuel volume at all.

Anyway, I'd suggest you check the rheostat resistances at the tank connector as described below. If one gives an abnormal value, then you have firm grounds for suspicion.
