FBH is 5 or 6 ohm to much

When testing the resistance of a FBH glow plug is 0.5 or 0.6 ohms too much?

I wouldnt think so. What are you concerned about? More likely your meter leads are affecting the reading unless you are using one designed for measuring low resistances

The glowplug should be less than 0.4 ohms and flames sensor 0.6 or above according to French Mike.

Mac, testing the resistance at 25C should be 2.6 ... 3.4Ω or less than 4Ω means the plug is good as new. I put one reading just below 5Ω in the FBH on my tourer about a year ago, and it still works fine. I have had new plugs read almost 6Ω after only one winter, albeit from a boat.

When the glow plug goes out, the PCB does not care about any 4Ω, if the resistance changes relative to the temp, ok, but it is just a old glow plug.

Your plug may work, it may not as flame sensor, for how long could be weeks or years, only way is to try it.

Or if you decide to send me your PCB, send the plug with it, I can run it for you, then at least you know the plug will work when you fit your FBH.
