Ht,lt leads don't think it makes much difference. I once got the ht leads on mine in the wrong sequence once. Misfire on startup, followed by a lumpy uneven drive on warm up. Sound anything like what you had? 😊

Just had this exact issue develope with my Zt 160 v6.
I appear to have it sorted but have found other issues! I know my car spat out a plug before I owned it (centre front one), previous owner had it sorted and shortly after I got it this damn misfiring started. Today we took all of the plugs out and as part of the job the rear coils have to come off. All of the rear plugs were loose, the front centre plug had oil sat around it for no obvious reason also .... Interestingly all of my rear plugs are brand new NGK R platinum things, the fronts are all manky and old WHY WOULD YOU??? Refitted everything and tightened all the plugs up correctly and it now runs absolutely beautifully. Check all of your plugs are nipped up properly and all the coils + front leads are in good condition, I'm guessing they have used the wrong plugs or done something stupid when putting it back together. |

I was always taught that the easiest and cheapest way to find things out that is wrong with anything, is to start with the cheapest things first.Never followed this post up because of the way it was being taken, away from the ops fault, but noticed that it had been found after many complicated suggestions, that it was a spark plug. This had been suggested in post 10, but was not followed up.
