[QUOTE=Jules;1472510]This is like reading your own obituary Brian.
Defo have some time off and get that pipe & slippers out !! I'm sort of deliberately having at least 4 days off to go to the NEC Classic. Jules [/QUOTe It's the pipe and slippers that got Brian into trouble in the first place Jules 😜

I'm a Z80A man myself, not a huge fan of the 6809, spent too much time repairing a Williams "Defender" in a previous life Did however play with the 68000 in the QL, oh happy days Brian P.S. I've yet to breathe on your car Andy P.P.S. I'll leave the LINAC's to the real experts Last edited by marinabrian; 16th November 2013 at 21:43.. |

Yep, bringing back some good old memories, used to do a lot of work with 68705 (6805 with inbuilt uv eeprom) on an HP64000 emulator...
I've also done some 68K work and more recently a lot of AVR stuff (wonderful beasts, much better than PICs) and most recently ARM7, but that was all in C so didn't get the appreciation of the architecture as much as you do when using assembly. Sadly though that's all behind me now I was blessed early last year when I called round to yours after work and you diagnosed my intermittent door alarm problem
