Default finally

Two items of stunning beauty

One the Spitfire in her unarmed guise as a photo reconnaissance aircraft. Purely adapted for speed.

Then of course that rarest of beauty, the only flying Spitfire that took part in the Battle of Britain. the Spitfire as Mitchell meant her to be. Curves of beauty and power.
Every pilots dream.

Thanks folks. Have a long held fascination for military aircraft. The raw power of modern stuff and the evocative sound of Second World War aircraft. The sound of the Rolls Royce Merlin has a certain ....well...something about it.
