Default rear side lamp. 75 diesel.

My rear sidelight is out. I thought ok the bulb has gone so bought new ones.
Still out so the problem must be elsewhere, all other lights normal.
So gents where should I look next? Have had the car for 12 years but this is something new. I thought maybe the fuse box but not for a single light.
Any help appreciated. Firefrost.

Try cleaning the contacts. Have you checked the light seals for water ingress?

I did not put a meter on it but nothing showing with a new bulb. I will test that tomorrow. I think the problem is up line. All the visible cables look as new. Where would the next potential fault area be located ?

A squirt of WD 40 over all the contacts you can see will clean and ward off any possible corrosion.
