Default Interior fan bearing noise

Hello,

The bearings/bushings in the interior fan in my 1999 LHD 75 are whining, and since it seems like a significant pain to get out, I wonder if it is just a question of a drop of oil, or I can just as well order a new one and replace it right away?

I suspect fitting a new motor will be just as easy (in a practical sense) as oiling the bearings. And most likely a better solution.

You would have to remove the motor in both cases so I guess it's down to how much a new motor would cost.-

Thanks,

Found a used one cheap on eBay, and I will check it carefully before swapping it in.

Best of luck with fitting it.---If the old one is serviceable you'll then have a spare.---
