Casualties of war
when refitting my door card yest, 2 casualties of war...
the "snib" - ie the bit that pops up and down from surface of door card when i lock the door. this has come loose from whatever it was hooked into and can and indeed has, pulled right out the doorcard and is now in my boot. can this be put back in place? chrome around passenger door inner handle - can these simply be replaced, by clicking them in, or is it the whole new handle i need? thank you |

Usually the "nibs"break off, mine did. Stuck mine back on with some strong glue. The chrome surround of the door handle.

This is a major problem on our cars now.
Every time you have to work on something, a plastic piece will break somewhere. I've had a lot of older cars over the years, and never had the same problem. Only happens with my ZT's. Mick |

Thanks for that, but not at the moment it doesn't. Front off, lights out, rear wheels off, ECU out etc. Can't do much cos I'm nursing the flu and it's icy outside. Not a good combination. |

You can purchase a new unit, but if you use strong glue as I did, it should be ok Mine is still in 9 months on.
