Thanks for that - I think that it is quite attention grabbing.

All they need to do now, is actually show it!

Have to admit that it's strange that they are using the most expensive version in the tag line, most manufacturers show the top of the range car in the advert, but show the price of the base model, with a disclaimer in small print in the bottom of the screen!

If they advert showed that the range started from £8,399, they are much more likely to get people through the showroom doors, but then what do I know?

I hope they have summat else up their sleeve because this advert is junk IMO.

What it says to me is this...

"Go to Halfords buy a boring car and stick some stickers on it or buy this boring car and stick some stickers on it. We also do a model called the 'top' which costs almost ten grand....

..oh and you can stick an ipod to the dash."

and that is all.

I really like the car but this advert stinks, I know the "top model" they are referring to is the 3Style, but why not say it? (top of the range 3style just £9,999). they also need to be throwing in the DAB/Bluetooth/auto wipers/auto headlights and other fanciable standard equipment.

Lets hope for a grown-up ad, as I don't think this one will boost much needed sales.

I think its one of a series of ads. I also think its a decent attempt at the target market. Going by the fact all the print ads have been in magazines such as cosmopolitan... Plus its better than the " Dave" advert! lol

I think the advert is good, on a par with either the recent Citreon, Skoda or Renault adverts. The key difference being that whereas they quote prices from this says where prices stop. A clever twist.

I just hope they actually show it on tv this time
