Fancy seeing your car on TV's Fifth Gear?
The 75 and ZT Owners Club has received the undernoted email.
If you are interested please PM a mod Hi there, I am contacting you on behalf on the motoring programme Fifth Gear on the Discovery Channel. I am part of the team working on the new series of the show, in which we have a feature where we present the viewer with cheaper alternatives to a ‘supercar’ featured earlier in the programme. For this particular episode we are looking for alternatives to the Bentley Flying Spur and one of the cars I am trying to source is a Rover 75 around the £1000 mark, preferably a V6, high spec, leather, TV set etc. I wondered if you would be able to post a notice to your members encouraging anyone who would be interested with a suitable car to email me for more information. Any assistance you can offer is much appreciated. Kind regards, |

Sounds like a ZT 190 early Monogram with working VIS MOTORS or a dealer launch with a few hidden extra bhp.

I know it's not a V6...but Vindaloo's magnificent 75 is surely the motor!?

I have asked them the question as to why they would seemingly want to "buy" one, as opposed to "borrowing" one for the show ?

Probably because it'll be cheaper in the long run to drive it the way they want to & have it for as long as they need it, then dispose of it, rather than have to placate a distraught owner and compensate him
