Default resitting mot after a couple of months

Hi so just fixed the failures on my mot from xmas and booked back in, so question is do they go over everything or just the last failures after this long ?

In NI you only have 21 days to retest, otherwise you are liable for a full test inc. the cost. I always thought it to be the same rules for a mainland MOT.

Appears to be different in the UK (I knew about the difference between our test centres and mainland MOT garages though)

Unless that's changed, you must book your retest within 21 days but I've booked the car for over a month down the line as an official retest.
