Rear subframe washers
I've forgotten which way up the big failsafe washers go.
I think they should have the dished side facing downwards, like an overturned saucer. Like so: Putting them on the other way (dished side up) would be bonkers 'cos they'll just fill up with water. Rimmers diagram looks like dished side down but it's not clear enough to be 100% certain. https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-GRID001554 Can someone confirm dished side down please (or otherwise). Ta in advance. |

It was me based from a reply from a German MGR/JLR dealer in British cars -cut and paste below of his mail .
That part is no longer from MG ROVER. Look for BMW 33312282251 yourself. Mit freundlichen Grüßen / yours faithfully Michael Hagedorn Allbrit Automotive Parts e.K. Ströherstrasse 12 D-29229 Celle www.Allbrit.de [email protected]

Ouch! You were not wrong regarding the price, it would be cheaper to turn some on a lathe!

I got some from the scrap yard, shot blasted them and painted them, did the same for those on my Tourer. Need to check the ones on the saloon
