Two solid results today.
Race one.... 8th from P18 on the grid and first Kawasaki over the finish line..
Good way to get noticed is to beat the factory supported bikes.
Race two.... 12th by a few 100s of a second after getting caught on the line..
Brands Hatch in two weeks for the last weekend of the BSB season..
We'll be there from early on the Friday morning to catch all the action.
Cheers Ian

Brands Hatch this coming weekend..Last round of the season and we'll be there thanks to Ryan and the RAF Regular and Reserve Kawasaki team..
We're visiting family in Thetford at the moment and Ryan and his dad popped round to say hello and drop these off for us.

Add to this the cottage close to Brands Hatch circuit that our eldest son has rented for us and it's looking like a great weekend.
Just need the weather to play nicely as well.
I'll keep the updates going but you can follow the action live on Sunday via DMax free view channel 42.
Cheers Ian

Brands Hatch update..
Well the team has had better starts to a weekends racing..
Friday free practice #1.... 14 laps then engine seized..
Friday free practice #2.... Very changeable condition saw Ryan get caught out on a damp section whilst on slicks this resulted in a VERY close inspection of the Clearways gravel trap, fortunately without injury to Ryan or the bike..

Saturday
Free practice completed without any issue
Qualifying... On a drying track with the fast times coming at the very end of the session Ryan unfortunately got blocked on his final run and missed out going through to quali 2.. 21st on the grid is his worst qualifying result of the year
Race 1... Clean start from his lowly grid position saw him making steady progress until on lap 6 a rider a few places in front of him had a massive engine failure going into Surtees bend and YES you've guessed Ryan was one of three riders following that crashed on the oil from the engine blow, a very heavy crash that saw Ryan suffering with leg pain but no apparent injuries so hopefully he'll be fit to race tomorrow..
Sometimes if you don't have bad luck you don't get any luck at all

It would have been good to have a happy weekend..
Off on somebody else's oil, a broken chain another off trying to catch upon cold tyres etc etc..I felt so sorry for Ryan and the team after such a tough finish to the season.
Here's the official team video..

Looking as if he'll be back next season but obviously money is the key, so if anyone has a few grand to spare on some advertising give me a shout..

thanks for all the messages of support..
Here's a pic of your's truly (complete with team gear) and Ryan at Brands.
and a couple more
Ryan heading into clearways bend on a damp track.

And I bought a book, had a chat and a laugh with some old bloke that has won a TT or three..

I can't put on the forum what Mrs G had just said to him to cause the merriment..
