Default sat nav cdrom

Hi, I have a 2005 mg zt 2.5 v6 and am looking for an upto date cdrom for my satnav. I have heard that there might be a dvd version, is that so?
I am new to all this so any information would be gratefully received.
All the best, Alan

Hello, I don't know if you have had the same luck as I have trying to source one of the sat nav discs for your car but I am finding it almost impossible.I have a 2005 mg zt and I have had conflicting advise from they didn't do a sat nav disc later than 2005 to you can use a land rover disc or a bmw one.Even my local mg garage said and I quote, this is the first time anyone has asked for one, and they didn't even think they existed anymore.
Even a search on the good old internet failed.Do you know of anywhere to source one, or if they do not exist anymore.
Regards, Alan

When you say 'disc', do you mean the Drive Unit in the Glove Box/Boot?

No, I have the drive unit but I have the disc that goes up to 2005 and there have been an awful lot of new roads etc since then.

Your ~(or your son) need to download from the link provided and use Authoring software such as Nero or CloneDVD to burn to disk.
