passport query
Hi anybody know the answer to this one? my passport expires July '14 I want to book holiday in December. obviously I will renew passport as soon as possible but can I book holiday now with current details? its a straight renewal but I believe the passport number changes. names on tickets have to match passport but will they query the different number? thanks for any replies. Steve.

I know you can have 2 passports so you can still travel at the same time as sending the other away for visas etc... or you can renew early..

Your ONLY problem is APIS, or Advanced Passenger Information.
This is where a holiday company requires the passenger info from passports in advance. This is usually done online and after booking. As long as it is within time required before travel there is no problem - Usually a week before travel is acceptable
