Remember seeing a pic somewhere of a Sunderland flying boat dragging its hull on the tarmac and making loads of smoke. That was very impressive.

RAF Buccaneer
Used to spend a happy holiday at my Grandparents house in Elgin. Always took her down to see the planes flying from RAF Lossiemouth. That is exactly how the better Buccaneer pilots took off. They used to lift the wheels up before they had left the ground. Awesome planes. You get really close at Lossiemouth! Going to miss my occasional trip down to RAF Leuchars on a Friday after the sods close it in a couple of months! Chris |
