Have taken all advice given...
The only thing I can say is that the house was built in 1999, but built very well! And although it is a Semi-Detached and in the 14 odd years I have live in it not once have I heard my neighbours through the walls, even though they had 2 young boys, now teenagers.... The Eyebolt is for an outside wall to support a large bush and to stop it from leaning over. Thanks again.

Blimey,
I have just spent an age looking at different types of wall anchor fixings. I have just bought a PTZ CCTV camera which weighs 2KG and am looking to fit it to this corner bracket. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1910444700...84.m1439.l2649 My external walls are shocking and are pebble dashed but with 1/2 inch pebbles, much like the one in this pic any advice on what fixings to buy to fit the bracket to the wall (ideally from screwfix website) would be great

Always into brick not mortar. I prefer chemical fixings. Much stronger than plugs and compensate for any voids in bricks or construction blocks.
