I live in a town, the local exchange is Fibre enabled, BT have run out to Fibre Cabinets over a part of the town, if it was not for trees I could see the exchange, but the nearest cabinet is 600 metres away and there is no chance of fibre coming our way. We appear to be spending large sums of money across the county to get Fibre to the villages but ignoring the towns at the same time. Rant over.

Got BT Infinity here in the sticks in Cornwall. 72mbps all the time. Supports IPTV really well. Very stable too.

Orange is my provider, not the best, but cheap. I find their customer service more than acceptable.

BT Infinity is briliant in South East London!
No experience with other providers though.

The speed I get is similar to what was quoted when I signed up.

have had vigin 3 years only ever had one problem and that was when first set up. speed was very slow. was sorted overnight and now get around 60 all the time.
have bt in the office for just over two years very slow and always dropping.
was in the office two weeks ago to sort out again. this time was a modem fault. but now running at around 30. would seem that it was never fitted by them correct in the first place. our 2nd phone line was interfering with the line.
