Why for parts when it's a runner?

What a car with 12 months MOT running OK?
I'm sorry but what I think of this sort of practice cannot be written for fear of being banned.
however pardon me if I say this is the sort of idiotic short sightedness that should be discouraged strongly.

Seems a bit of a pity when it's a car with nothing wrong with it, other than having the 'wrong' engine, in many people's eyes. Looks worth using, to me.

Scott not the best of comments to make on a forum dedicated to the marque, especailly concerning a running vehicle.

I would suggest you read the FAQ's with regard to your comments.

It's a real keeper. And you can fill it with legs.

Cheers

I suspect a wrong link here, the car listed is in Penrith whereas the OP is in Walsall; lets not shoot the messenger just yet

Out of my four Rover 75's, the one I like the best, and the most reliable.....1800T tourer.

The car I like the least, and only own under great sufferance......two litre diesel.

The 1800 turbo is easily the most flexible of all of the engine variants, and certainly the most balanced in terms of running costs and reliability.

I would buy this, just to prevent it being broken by the OP

I'd like to try a 1.8T at some point, as I understand it's a lot more flexible, and entertaining than the 2.0 V6. It seems a pity that so many people buy working cars, just to take them apart, for no reason.
