No, still waiting on the phone call from the doctors for the second jab. Might be tough going for you guys at the seaside when lockdown ends!

[QUOTE=Lancpudn;2867792]No, still waiting on the phone call from the doctors for the second jab.
Might be tough going for you guys at the seaside when lockdown ends! AAAAAAGH!!! Don't we're over run with the perishing things.. I'm a massive lover of all wildlife but our small close has become a seagull nesting site because a couple of mindless idiots encourage them with food, now anything smaller than them has become a prey item consequently hardly ever see a finch, sparrow or anything smaller than a jackdaw now. Trouble is the seagulls are still protected as so as soon as they start to build a nest on your roof it becomes an offence to remove it even if it is only part build with no eggs in it. Our local community centre had to be closed a couple of years ago because gulls had nested on the roof and the surplus food left by the nests rapidly became infested with maggots which then found their way through the vents into the building dropping onto the OAPs eating their Sunday lunch below....Not allowed to remove the nest's so centre was closed. Sorry rant over now !! Last edited by Ian G; 27th February 2021 at 10:17.. |

My other half had hers yesterday but she's a nurse. She's got a thumping headache today, she was warned there could be more side effects from the 2nd jab.

Oh! heck, I can imagine those birds can be a pain in the backside if you live with them full time, I only get to see them once a decade or so when I venture to the coast

Beautiful afternoon here, I have been working hard tidying the garden & garage but don't seem to have achieved much I found my mastic gun which has been AWOL for ages down the back of the workbench....... I ordered a new one off ebay only the other day
Our daughter put her foot through a rotten piece of decking board that I've been meaning to replace for months looks like I'll need a circular saw as well now my old one got water damaged in the garage a while ago.

Got things I want to/need to do but until I get to the bottom of the wrist problem I don't want to aggravate them. Don't have to do anything heavy, painful with just normal movement, anything heavy like chopping the hard veg the other day gets them "singing", took two days for the pain to subside Got the x ray on Wed but going to ask the GP what I can take in the way of painkillers in the meantime. |

Ouch! Sounds painful Steve, I've made the mistake of sitting down & that's me done now I cant get up from the chair. Missus has gone to B&Q which isn't a good sign Anybody else finding the site to be clunky & really slow? It seems to take forever for the page to load.
