have you tested the SWITCH? Multimeter on ohm`s and see if when it operates it switchs!! If it does the you`ve another problem somwhere . Brerrabbit.

I bought a new switch - then seconds later the old one started working again all the time. Can't win.

Throw the old one away and fit a new one............

i also had an intermittent fault on mine,replaced the switch and no further problems

For some reason the old one is still working. It hasn't faltered again since I parked the car with the nearside front wheel on a lower level to the rest of the wheels. Weird.
